QR code warranty registration

QR code warranty registration your customers will actually use.

QR code warranty registration lets a buyer register a product by scanning the label with their phone camera, instead of posting a paper card or filling a long web form. With Tagvion, every unit has its own QR code, so the registration is tied to the exact serial number and the warranty starts from the invoice date on its own.

What you get

What Tagvion gives you

A unique code per unit

Not one code per model. Each code belongs to one serial, so registrations never get mixed up.

Labels with your brand

Your logo, the asset code or serial, and the fields you choose, in three sizes.

Register in about a minute

Name, email or mobile and an invoice photo. “Bought from” is filled in from the dealer chain.

Fraud checks built in

Duplicate claims, invoices dated before delivery and very late claims are flagged.

Dealer chain recorded

Maker → distributor → dealer → owner, and the dealer’s stock updates on its own.

Service from the same scan

After registering, the same QR raises a service request linked to the unit.

How does QR code warranty registration work?

  1. 1Add your units in Tagvion and print a QR label for each one.
  2. 2Stick the label on the product before it leaves the factory.
  3. 3The buyer scans it and enters their details and a photo of the invoice.
  4. 4Warranty starts from the invoice date, capped at your maximum, and you see the new owner straight away.

Why one QR code per unit, not per model?

A code per model can only open a general product page. A code per unit knows the exact serial number, so the registration, the warranty and every later repair attach to the right product. It also stops one invoice being used to register many units.

Is registration required for the warranty to count?

No. Registration is optional in Tagvion. Every unit always has a warranty date from your default rule (manufacturing date plus grace). Registering with an invoice moves the start to the date of purchase.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do labels already printed keep working?

Yes. Each unit keeps its QR code for life, so labels already on your products keep working.

What does the buyer see when they scan?

Your brand, the product, its warranty, its documents and your service contact. Other customers’ details are never shown.

Can we approve registrations before they count?

Yes. Approve them automatically, or review each one. Suspicious claims are flagged either way.

Can we choose what is printed on the label?

Yes. Pick the fields: model, customer, warranty end, support phone and the scan link.
